- May 2006-Environmental movement
- The environmental movement (sometimes including the conservation- or green movements) is a diverse global social and political movement, which advocates the protection, sustainable management and restoration of the natural environment in an effort to satisfy human needs, including spiritual and social needs, as well as for its own sake. Towards these aims, environmentalists usually engage in, or support advocacy, for social change, public policy reforms, and changes in the behaviour of individuals, governments and firms. On the one hand, the movement is united by a reverence for the natural world, a commitment to maintain the health of natural systems, and in its recognition of humanity as a part of, and not separated from, ecosystems. On the other side, environmentalists come from many different political traditions, countries and walks-of-life. Some of this groups are prosecuted by the local justice departments. Some of them try to achieve their goals through non-governamental organizations. In may we will focus on the tensions that exist between capitalism and the envirometal activists.Biotechnology,DNA-modification,Earth polluting and more.
